New blog, upgrades...
I've had a bit o' fun this weekend, setting up a code repository and issue tracker for a new project, and in the process got a refresher course in modern Ruby on Rails practices. I'm very impressed! Phusion Passenger is a mod to Apache so that installing a Rails application is as easy as PHP, but much more secure! As a result, I was able to ditch the nightmare of mongrel_cluster, which also allowed an easy upgrade path to upgrade this blog. (http://typo.dgrmm.net for you facebook folks)
I just might have to get back into RoR...

I forgot that I configured facebook to follow my homepage. I guess I can use both methods this way! (Facebook readers, this is a copy of my homepage that you can see using the “View Original Post” link.)

Hmm, if anyone reads this, you may have noticed it’s out of date. Well, since I think only friends look here, most of my dialog has moved to facebook. Yep, I’ve been ensnared. Who knows what I’ll do with this space…
