It’s been a hectic summer… and I just realized I haven’t updated anything here for a while. In fact, as I tried to log in to post a story, I discovered the server behind this had died, so it was just coasting on the static content. Oops!

We’re getting ready to go to camp tomorrow, so I won’t have time to get any pictures up until afterwards. In the meantime, a little news:

• Becky has a job! The tech college hired her full time to teach computer science stuff. This is a real answer to prayer
• Tech duty at church seems to have taken up a lot of time this summer, between sound board and the projecter, Becky and I have been busy keeping things running. I’ll have a video to post here soon of the special music that Andrew Kemper did in June.
• I’ve had a nice coding contract through the summer that has kept me busy, and having lots of fun with Ruby on Rails and LDAP. While the details of the project are proprietary, I do have some code to give back to the community wrt LDAP.
• The major contract that I had last year has been renewed! This is another answer to prayer, and for the first time in our marriage, Becky and I feel halfway secure in our finances… at least for a little while. LOL
• Levi is running around and causing lots of trouble. He needs many outings and adventures away from home, and yet, he seems to have problems if we are away from home for a few days. I guess adventures are nice when you can come back home afterwards. We hope he handles camp better than the last few trips.
